Sydney Fleming.
Client Services Manager | Partner
BCom, DipFP, CDec
I'm all about making sure our clients get the best possible experience. Since joining the financial services industry in 2016, I've found my groove in making everything run like clockwork - from looking after client needs to fine-tuning our processes.
I'm super goal oriented - whether they're my personal goals, company goals, or client goals. Seeing people succeed energizes me and reminds me why our work matters so much.
I've moved around a bit - born in Sydney (the place), grew up in England, tested out Melbourne, and now I'm loving life in Brisbane.
Outside office hours, you'll find me 4WD-ing and camping with my husband Nic and our dog Benji, or heading to the beach.
I like to give back where I can too - I'm a regular plasma donor and supporter of various charities (though I'll admit, I'm a bit of a soft touch for those charity workers in shopping centres!).

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive who would it be? Why?
My whole family, including my mum, dad, sister, aunty, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. To sit around a table together, share stories, have a laugh, and enjoy that sense of being all together again.
What's your favourite quote?
"Everything happens for a reason".
What was your first job and what did it teach you?
My first job was at Kmart, and it taught me a lot more than I expected. From attention to detail and working efficiently under pressure to juggling multiple tasks, it helped me build strong time management and multitasking skills. Most importantly, it taught me the value of money and the connection between time, effort and what you can afford.
What book changed your perspective on money or life?
Rather than a single book, my perspective on money has been shaped by podcasts and YouTube content focused on personal finance. One of the most influential has been Caleb Hammer. While his content is US-based, the core principles around budgeting, spending habits, and accountability are highly transferable.
What’s your go to karaoke song?
Sk8er Boi by Avril Lavigne
If you could live in any city in the world for a year, where would it be and why?
